Does the idea of alt-porn chicks stepping into the ass-whooping shoes of Charlie's Angels seem hot? Joanna's Angels is as fun as porn gets - hip enough for the young upstart set and sexually broiling throughout. Joanna Angel wrote, directed and stars in this feature, which turns out to be so cleverly done that you don't even register it completely until you've watched it at least once more. There's no explanation, particularly, as to who Joanna and her Angels are, who they work for, or what their mission is, but none of that matters. All you need to know is that their nemesis is Katrina Kraven, and she's brainwashed Tommy Pistol to become a raving lunatic running amok in New York City, crooning the praises of L.A. He kidnaps one of the angels, Kylee, and so the other two must rescue her, find Katrina's evil lair and put a stop to her evilness. Pistol gives a rip-roaringly hilarious performance, and as stated above, the sex is just terrific throughout. Joanna Angel is sexy, smart and a talent to be reckoned with. This is the movie that will put her on the map, and it's going to be a humongous hit. Look out world, Joanna Angel is here!
