Getting Personal, from 1986, is an odd, sexually stunning and off-the-wall little film in which Henri Pachard achieves the most out of a seemingly small budget. What he gets is fabulous performances from his leads, Colleen Brennan and Herschel Savage, and an adult film that can only be described as different. Savage marries Brennan, a prostitute who seems to attract sordid customers, so that he can gain US citizenship. He pays Colleen with money that he stole, from her. They form a partnership of sorts, trying to rip off some people for money, attempting all the while to pay off Colleen's sleazy pimp. One of the ways she pays him off is to have wild bathroom sex with a high-class prostitute (Sharon Mitchell), her sleazy date (Paul Thomas) and Savage as well. Another payment involves teaching runaways Tom Byron and Patti Petite the fine art of live sex acts for the pimp's club.
