The Borstal is the sequel to The Strict Boarding School. Shot in the dormitory block, the brown uniforms of the boarding school have been replaced by the khaki uniforms of the borstal. At school, all four girls hated their uniform, but this borstal dress is even worse. The borstal staff are also in uniform, and are cold and heartless towards the girls. The wardess and the young dormitory captain just love punishing the girls, whether with a cane or with a leather strap.
