In Addiction, a psychiatrist is writing about her own sexual experiences. She's addicted to sex. On her way to the hospital she runs into a couple on the train and has sex with the guy while the wife is sleeping. In a mental hospital she has some very strange experiences. The movie starts with interviews as patients and doctors will talk about what turns them on, leading to a series of sexual encounters. At the end we go back to the train, find the psychiatrist with all her notes - did she imagine all the scorching sex?
